About the "La Senorita" dress, shawl and hat...
The dress is made of a beautiful velvet deer suede, hand laced, the front bodice is hand twisted fringe and a cascade of fresh water coin pearls are laced into the fringe. The back is corset laced, and all over embellished with hand twisted fringe.

The "La Senorita" ensemble is an homage to character Victoria Cannon of the Western television series "High Chaparral". Linda Cristal portrayed a Mexican woman of great power and strength whose character always inspired me for her kindness and fair wisdom in the tensions and crisis told in the episodes of living near the border of Mexico. I created La Senorita as I imagine it would be a gown she might wear in the Twenty First Century of today. It is a timeless look just as the character Ms. Cristal created in the 1870's era from which the story was told. Thank you Linda Cristal for creating such a memorable strong woman for all to be inspired by.
