| The Charlie Russell Scarf
An accomplished painter, sculptor, illustrator, and a gifted storyteller, Charlie Russell portrayed himself as a stalwart yet open person. He wore the red Metis sash and custom made high heeled riding boots. His unique sense of style was indicative of his great talent in portraying the Native West. A prolific favorite son of Montana, Russell completed over 4,000 artwork during his lifetime. Living 46 years in the West, his art is in the collections of the most prestigious museums in the world.
