Ode to Yellowstone Gown
The beauty of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone was the
inspiration for this gown. I have photographed and
painted Yellowstone for many years, and it is hauntingly
beautiful It's powerful quiet takes your breath away,
and it's majesty is unforgettable.
This is a smoked deer suede hand laced gown with
corset lacing and freshwater pearls edging the bottom.
Like the towering sweeps of the canyon's edge and
the trees precariously holding onto the sloping canyons,
I wanted to capture that tenuous motionless power with
metallic silk organza and ostrich feathers. everything
delicate and yet strong, hauntingly beautiful, like a great woman.
This gown is a size 4 - 6, but it can be created in another
size as well, similar but original.
