About the Lucky Jacket Collection...
This collection was inspired by my favorite denim jacket. It traveled through many years and countries and made me feel safe and secure when in a strange crowd. It was with me when I had my first art exhibit in Paris, was awarded two Fellowships in Photography, and my last rodeo in Whitehall. When I first met the cowboy of my dreams and walked in the mountains it held it's own amongst the exotic wild flowers.
And so, I thought... how wonderful it would be to create a collection of "Lucky Jackets" to become someone else's favorite old friend and the idea behind the collection was born. Each jacket is made from the soft weathered qualities of recycled denim. Redesigned with many beautiful extra delights including leathers, silks, velvets and brocades and aged metal embellishments adding a personality to the finished work. No two are alike. If one speaks to you, it's your lucky jacket!
